Periodontology focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases that affect the gums and the supporting structures of the teeth. Periodontal diseases, such as gingivitis or periodontitis, can lead to tooth loss if they are not treated in time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
